SASKATOON – Saskatoon police Tasered a man who had approached them aggressively with a metal pipe, say Saskatoon Police Service.
They got a report at about 9:30 p.m. Friday night about a man threatening people with a weapon. When police arrived, patrol officers found the man in the 900 block of Victoria Ave. He was armed with a metal pipe.
After being Tasered by police, he was assessed at the scene as a precaution.
The incident will be reviewed in accordance with SPS policy.
