Three charged with drug trafficking in Regina

SWAT team called as police execute search warrant.

REGINA – After a six-week police investigation, three people are now behind bars and facing drug charges.

On July 27, police executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Albert Street, with the assistance of the SWAT team.

"As a result of the search warrant, two adult males and one adult female were taken into custody," said RPS in a media release. "Police seized a quantity of drugs, more than $4,000 in Canadian currency, multiple cell phones and other items associated with drug trafficking."

Waisse Mahad Omar Bouraleh, 29, of Regina; Omar Abdiaziz Issak, 36, and Abalm-Emmanualle Yeboua, 29, both of Edmonton were each charged with two counts possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

The trio will make their first appearances in Regina Provincial Court on Sept. 11.
