Three men arrested in P. A. drug bust choose provincial court trial

Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team seized drugs, cash and weapons following a cocaine trafficking investigation.

PRINCE ALBERT – Three men, Adbiaziz Mohamud, El Faough Salih, and Abdullahi Almi, arrested in a drug bust by Prince Albert Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team have elected to be tried in provincial court.

In February, Mohamud, Salih, and Almi, along with Adbiaziz Mohamud and Abdullahi Almi, were arrested following a cocaine trafficking investigation.

Police raided a business in the 2600 block of 2nd Avenue West and a home in the 600 block of 7th Street East. During the searches, police seized two loaded handguns, $15,485 cash, and 548 grams of cocaine.

All five men were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of the proceeds of crime, and multiple firearms offences.
