SWIFT CURRENT – A Swift Current man entered a guilty plea to assault with a weapon today.
Nicklaus Frank Bedore, 22, was sentenced to 90 days in custody for the charge in Swift Current Provincial Court. Given credit for the 60 days he spent in pre-trial custody, the sentenced was deemed as served.
Four other charges were stayed by the Crown, and Bedore will appear on a separate charge of fraudulently obtaining food, beverage, or accommodation on Nov. 29.
