Const. Dillon Husky has pleaded not guilty.

PRINCE ALBERT – Trial dates have been set for Oct. 25 and Dec. 12 for a Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) officer facing assault charges in two separate incidents.

Const. Dillon Husky, who joined PAPS in July 2019, has pleaded not guilty. The charges stem from incidents on July 1 and July 16, 2023.

On July 22, 2023, PAPS had asked the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) to investigate Const. Husky’s actions. The PPC investigates and reviews complaints against municipal police services. The commission is a five-person, non-police body appointed by the government.

The PPC recommended that Const. Husky be charged. He has been placed on administrative duties.
