Wanted Regina man appears in court

Provincial Court to proceed with matters tomorrow.

REGINA – A 23-year-old Regina man who was the subject of the RPS 'Wanted' list appeared in court this morning

Dana Jordan Wallace appeared in Regina Provincial Court on 34 charges related to multiple incidents.

One that prompted police to issue a request to the public seeking Wallace occurred on March 26 on the 5000 block of Fourth Avenue. On that evening at around 7:20 p.m., police responded to a robbery at a business in that location.

"A male left with merchandise, and when staff approached, he became aggressive and destroyed the merchandise," said RPS in a media release. "He revealed a firearm to staff, then left."

The man was later identified as Wallace, who gained charges of assault with a weapon, theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, failure to comply with the condition of a release order, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a weapon from that incident.

Wallace will be held in custody for his next court appearance on May 30 in Regina Provincial Court.
