REGINA - Oct. 28, 2024. Six days of voting, 56 hours in total, ends tonight at 8 p.m. as today is the last day of voting in the 2024 Saskatchewan Provincial Election.
“It has been a busy week for our election workers, serving the 273,010 voters who cast a ballot during the first five days of voting, and collecting and processing the 20,417 vote by mail completed ballots that were returned to my office by Oct. 26,” says Dr. Michael Boda, Chief Electoral Officer of Saskatchewan.
“All 303 of our early voting locations have been open the past five days, and today we’ll add another 413 voting locations in rural constituencies to ensure no voter has to drive more than 30 minutes to their voting location.”
Voters can find where to vote by entering their address at www.elections.sk.ca/wdiv.
Any Canadian citizen who is at least 18 years old by Oct. 28, 2024, and ordinarily a Saskatchewan resident is eligible to vote. You must show ID at voting locations that shows your name and address before you can receive a ballot. The complete list of acceptable ID is found at www.elections.sk.ca/id.
All 716 voting locations across the province are open to serve voters from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. There is also voting today at 68 hospitals or remand centres. All voting at the 369 personal care facilities was completed before today.
