The Battlefords Rotary Club received a generous donation from Vic Pearsol’s estate Tuesday, at the Rotary Club’s annual Rotary Day lunch. Harvey Walker, left, presented Lee Ulmer of the Rotary Club of the Battlefords with the cheque. Walker, Pearsol’s friend and executor, announced the first installment of Pearsol’s donation at the lunch Tuesday, a total of $23,214.28. Though the total donations have not been announced yet, they are likely to come to around $50,000.Photo by Alex McPhail
