Sept. 7, the recreation staff and residents of Battlefords District Care Centre had the opportunity to go combining with Kramer Ltd. Kramer sales manager Wayne Vany and salesman Corey Jamieson along with local farmer Gilbert Jamieson and his sons provided the harvest opportunity. Kramer Ltd. had a 760 CLAAS combine there to do the job. A couple of BDCC’s “farmers” had the opportunity to take part by going along for a ride. Communications associate Becki Schultz from Kramer Ltd. in Regina was also there to take pictures and interview the residents for an article in their upcoming newsletter. Those who made the afternoon possible truly put a smile on the residents’ faces.
