She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Owen, Joe, Barbara and Kay (Sidney), Joan, Alyce and Catherine (Barbara), Barbara (Joe) and Mark (Alice), as well as many great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. During Ceta's lifetime, she was a teacher, a bookkeeper, a professional artist, a painter, a poet and so much, much more. As an independent, gifted woman, Ceta was a powerful role model for her nieces, who admired her talent and successes over the years. She lived life to the fullest, each day being precious to her. She thoroughly enjoyed her 100th Celebration of Life Birthday party, receiving congratulations from the Queen, the Governor General of Canada and the Prime Minister of Canada. Her Celebration of Life was attended by her family and friends. Aunt Ceta will be greatly missed. Ceta's family would like to express our appreciation for the wonderful care and love she received from the staff at the Douglas Care Community home.
