New Doc

A new doctor has come home to our community.

Doctor Amir Hossein Minoo arrived on May 15th to fill the void left by Dr. Khak's departure.

Dr. Minoo explains that the move to Kipling marks the newest chapter in an already lengthy medical career.

“I've been practicing medicine for about 25 years,” says Dr. Minoo. “I am originally from Iran and studied in that country. I am both a GP and an ER Doctor.”

Dr. Minoo immigrated to Canada in 2002, and practiced in Ontario and Saskatoon before coming to Kipling. He says that he is pleased to be working in a smaller community such as this.

“Kipling is a very nice place...much nicer than a big city like Toronto. I have really only had the chance to meet people as they have come in as patients. But, we have had the chance to start getting to know the community, and we like it here very much.”

Dr. Minoo is married and his son is a Grade 7 student in Kipling.
