REGINA - Wrestling fans in Saskatchewan are getting pumped up for the arrival of All Elite Wrestling starting this Saturday night in Regina.

The Brandt Centre will be host for AEW Collision, a televised show that will be seen on TSN and across the USA on TNT.

This is the first time the Jacksonville-based AEW promotion is holding an event in Saskatchewan, as part of their ongoing Canadian tour.

Already, the AEW trucks have rolled into the Brandt Centre parking lot as the arena gears up to host the live show which starts at 6 p.m. local time July 8.

Scheduled to headline the card Saturday is a match between CM Punk and Samoa Joe, in the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup Tournament Semi-Final. The other Men's Semi-Final features Powerhouse Hobbs versus Ricky Starks. The Women's Semi-Final features Athena versus Willow Nightingale, while in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator it is FTR feature Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) against Bullet Club Gold featuring Jay White and Juice Robinson.

There were still plenty of good seats available and ticket prices have been slashed this week, with Ticketmaster now offering cheap seats at just under $38.

SaskTel Centre is also due to host AEW next Wednesday in Saskatoon at 6 p.m., for tapings of shows to be televised Wednesday and Friday. Among the matches highlighted for that evening are Chris Jericho versus Komander, as well as Ruby Soho versus Skye Blue and Swerve Strickland versus Nick Wayne. Like the Regina show, plenty of tickets are still available.
