Unity town council agreed to guarantee a loan for up to $30,000 to be used for construction of dressing rooms on the north side of the community centre. Recreation director Don Robertson told council he had pledges from organizations which would pay the interest on the loan.
St. James CWL in Wilkie installed their new officers: Marie Mettlewsky, president; Rose Zeigler, Louise Stang and Amelia Gerlinsky, vice-presidents; Wilma Fenrich, treasurer; and Joyce Sutherland, secretary.
