American recording artist Marsha Lyn was booked to appear at the Heidelberg Inn in Unity for a full week of performances. Her recordings of Best Part of Me and Johnny be Good had opened Nashville doors for her.

The Senlac Centennial Homecoming saw approximately 575 people sign in, with many visitors setting up tents or parking their RVs in the old school yard. The parade of over 50 entries was led by horse-mounted flagbearers Danae Brown, Jordon May and Jamie Forbes.
