SASKATOON – The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation has announced it is staging a one day rotating strike involving members of the Lloydminster Teachers’ Association and Horizon Teachers’ Association this Friday, March 22.

This job action impacts all schools in Lloydminster Public and Lloydminster Catholic. It also impacts across Horizon school division, which is located in east central Saskatchewan with the division office located in Humboldt.

This job action is in addition to the previously announced province-wide withdrawal of extracurricular activities on the same day which has placed several events including Hoopla in Moose Jaw in jeopardy.

A one day province-wide strike is scheduled for Wednesday with extracurriculars to be withdrawn on Thursday and Friday across the province.
