BRODERICK — An 11-year-old Palomino gelding is missing from its enclosure near the Wolf Willow Winery near Broderick. It was last seen Dec. 24.
Its disappearance is suspicious, as it was with another horse at the time. There were breaks in the fence, and no signs gates were tampered with.
An extensive search of the pasture, along with neighbourhood inquiries has turned up negative. The horse has a hind-end soft tissue injury and is not rideable. It has a white blaze and is not branded.
