In round one, the Gardon Crushers played the Southwest Cyclones from Gull Lake

In game one in Theodore, on Feb. 19, the Crushers won 5-0. Goal scorers were Shaelyn Myers, Makenna Zimmer, Kiara Stewart, Mia Chretien and Reaune Blight. Haley Schrader had the shutout in net for the Crushers.

In game two, which was also played in Gull Lake on Feb 25, the Crushers won with a score of 7-1.

Since it’s a best-of-three series, the Crusher now move on to the semifinals of playoffs, where they will face the Regina Cougars.

 The first game of semi-finals will be played at home in Yorkton at the Kinsmen Arena. The game is on Saturday, March 4 at 4:30 p.m.

Game two will be played on March 9 in Regina.

The Gardon Crushers faced the Regina Cougars four times in the regular season. Yorkton took two wins, and the other two games were tied. It should be an interesting series between the two strong teams.
