Xerox Terriers finish regular season on top

The Yorkton Xerox Terriers of the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League have come to the end of the regular season. Their final two games were played last weekend in Swift Current and Moose Jaw, and they came out on top of both games.

The Yorkton Xerox Terriers of the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League have come to the end of the regular season.

Their final two games were played last weekend in Swift Current and Moose Jaw, and they came out on top of both games.

On Saturday, the Xerox Terriers faced the Swift Current Kabos Broncos and defeated them 6-2. The Kabos Broncos started off the scoring early, gaining their two goals in the first period. But the Xerox Terriers came back – hard.

Yorkton’s goals were scored by Massen Ziola (3), Josh Peppler (2) and Anthony Roebuck.

On Sunday, the Xerox Terriers faced the Moose Jaw Warriors. The final score was 7-1 for Yorkton.

Yorkton’s goals came from Josh Herman (2), Josh Peppler (2), Ryder Korczak (2) and Massen Ziola.

The Xerox Terriers finished the regular season in first place in the south division, and in second place in the league overall. This finish grants them a bye to the second round of playoffs. They will have to come out on top of three rounds to make to the league championship to reclaim their winning title for the fourth consecutive year. Playoffs are best-of-three series.
