Battlefords RCMP search for missing 14-year-old girl

RCMP are asking for help locating Kierra Purdie, 14, who was last seen on Mosquito First Nation and may have travelled to Saskatoon.

Kierra Purdie was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. on the Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation.

BATTLEFORDS — Battlefords RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Kierra Purdie, who was reported missing on May 27.

Kierra was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. on the Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head Lean Man First Nation. RCMP say she may have been on Highway 16 in North Battleford around 5:30 p.m. and could have entered an SUV.

She is described as having long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, red shorts and black shoes.

Police say Kierra may be travelling to the Saskatoon area, but her current location is unknown.

Anyone who has seen Kierra or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Battlefords RCMP at 310-RCMP.
