North Battleford man dies after rollover

Of the four occupants, one is deceased, two were injured and the fourth reported no injuries.

STARS air ambulance responded to a rollover near the Battlefords Thursday.

RM of ROSEMOUNT — A man from North Battleford died in the air while being flown to hospital by STARS from the Battlefords area.

On July 17 at approximately 6:30 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover on a grid road in the RM of Rosemount.

Officers responded along with local fire, EMS and STARS. One of the vehicle occupants was declared deceased by STARS while en route to the hospital. He has been identified as a 44-year-old male from North Battleford. His family has been notified.

Two vehicle occupants, an adult male and an adult female, were transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.

A second adult female occupant did not report injuries to police.

Battlefords RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
