NORTH BATTLEFORD - February was an unusually slow month for building permits in the City of North Battleford.
Numbers released this week from City Hall show that for February 2023 there were only four permits issued for $85,000. Two of them were demolition permits for $20,000 with one commercial alteration for $45,000 and one residential alteration for $20,000.
That is way down compared to the nine permits for $418,500 in February 2022.
Also, with February being a down month, the building permit pace has slowed for the whole year. So far through February, the city has issued 12 permits for $707,525, down from 17 permits for $1,150,500 for the same period in 2022.
