Video: Fire at garage of church under control

The public is advised to avoid the 1200-1300 blocks of 104th and 105th Streets.

Update: The City of North Battleford issued an update saying that firefighters have put out the garage fire with minor smoke damage to the attached residence.

There were no injuries of the residents, passersby, or firefighters.

The cause of the fire isn’t determined and is being investigated.

Drivers are asked to be cautious on 105 Street due to increased icy road conditions from water used by the firefighters.

NORTH BATTLEFORD — As of 10:48 Monday, the North Battleford Fire Department has been on scene at a garage fire. Crews have the fire under control but the fire chief advises that visibility in this area is very poor.

The public (pedestrians and motorists) are advised to avoid the 1200-1300 blocks of 104th and 105th Streets until further notice to allow for emergency response crews to complete their containment of the scene.
