Sask. Waste Reduction Council Repair Cafe looking for volunteers

Saskatchewan's Waste Reduction Council is looking for volunteers to help teach people how to fix small electronics, clothes and more.

NORTH BATTLEFORD —  Are you good a fixing small electronics and clothing? Do you know someone who is? Would you like to teach people?

The Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council is hosting a Repair Cafe in North Battleford on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is looking for volunteers to teach people how to fix their broken items.

Repair Cafes encourage people to consider repairing items rather than throwing them away, and you can learn more on SWRC’s website.

The deadline to volunteer is Oct. 14, and you can volunteer by contacting Meg Dorwart at meg@swrc.ca.
