The star attraction at this year’s Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum induction dinner was celebrated major league pitcher Ferguson “Fergie” Jenkins.

There was a big turnout of visitors for Those Were the Days, the signature weekend of the Western Development Museum in North Battleford. This year marked the 50th anniversary of the event, running Aug. 17 and 18.

Drugs and alcohol stolen from Luseland pharmacy At approximately 5:09 a.m. Aug. 13 in Luseland, a local pharmacy was broken into.

On Aug. 18, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Turtleford RCMP received a report of an armed home invasion at a residence on a rural property southeast of Glaslyn.
