The strong play of Battlefords North Stars’ forward Brett Gammer has not gone unnoticed in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Gammer received honours this past week as the DirectWest SJHL Rookie of the Week.

North Battleford galleries has announced that an event is planned by the family of Colten Boushie to mark the one-year date of the trial of Gerald Stanley. It will be at the Chapel Gallery Feb. 9 between 3 and 7 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
