The RCMP Crime Reduction teams continue deployments in Saskatchewan. The North Battleford Crime Reduction Team’s latest deployment from Feb 6 to 10, in conjunction with the Onion Lake RCMP detachment resulted in multiple arrests.

We just lost another of our old schools chums, Barbar Roseth (Bremner) of Rocky Mountain House, Alta., on Jan. 29 at the age of 89. She was born Dec. 25, 1930. Barbara has been in a senior home for a good number of years.

Don’t call it the new “North Battleford Hospital.” It is Saskatchewan Hospital, according to North Battleford Mayor Ryan Bater, who waded into the debate this week about funding for a new hospital in Prince Albert.
