A golden retriever owned by local dog breeder Robyn McGonigle has come home from a famous dog show with a prestigious award.

Last year, a teenage dancer from Battleford wondered what she could do to contribute to the My Community Cares campaign raising funds for a new Battlefords Trade and Education Centre building. The answer seemed obvious. Do what she knows best.

The colour pink rocked the Civic Centre Friday night as the North Stars took to the ice for national anti-bullying week.

March 12 is the date set aside for an event to raise money to bring a Syrian refugee family to the Battlefords. The Living Skies Funfair is aimed at the whole family and is to take place at the NationsWEST Field House.
