It’s not a secret that the Stars are one of the hottest teams in the SMAAAHL. After splitting a series against the third place Moose Jaw Generals, they were at it again in Notre Dame. Coming into the weekend, the Stars were 5-1 in January.

The northern community of La Loche is in shock following the events at the La Loche Community School Friday afternoon. Four people were killed in a shooting rampage at the school.
