BREHON, LILAH V.: Lilah Viola Brehon was born on May 6, 1923 near Maymont, SK and passed away on May 10, 2014, at Saskatoon, SK. She attended school at Keystone and Etonia near Maymont and then Battleford.

A report of truck theft has led to a cartload of charges against two 15-year-old boys and also charges against two other teens. The truck was reported stolen at 3:28 a.m. Friday and was spotted on 100th Street at 5 a.m. Saturday.

A male youth was sprayed with an unknown substance while riding his bicycle on Broad Street in Cut Knife at about 7 p.m. May 20, according to Cut Knife RCMP.

The Battlefords Photo Club held it's monthly meeting May 6. Members present viewed and voted for the photo challenge winner for the monthly challenge, "environmental" photos of the meeting room.
