BERNHARD: Hedwig (Hedy)
March 27, 1925 - May 15th, 2017
It is with heavy hearts the family of Hedy Bernhard (nee Bauml) formerly of Muenster, Saskatchewan announce her passing on Monday May 15, 2017 at the Tofield, Alberta Long Term Care Centre at the age of 92. Hedy was born to Jacob and Kathryn Bauml in 1925 and resided in Marysburg, Saskatchewan until she married Alfred Bernhard in 1944. They farmed in the Muenster area until 1974 when they moved to the village of Muenster. Hedy is survived by her 8 children: Myrna Pomfret, Gene (Josie) Bernhard, Gord (Lorraine) Bernhard, Ken (Wendy) Bernhard, Judy (Gary) Smail, Deby (Ken) Pace, Marilee (Doug) Jones, Sharon (Reg) Hofmann; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 brother Gary (Serena) Bauml. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred; her brothers Herbert, Jerome, Daniel; her sister Rose and her son in law Bert Pomfret. The funeral services will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Cathedral in Muenster, Saskatchewan on June 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
