Louis passed away on December 26, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Louis was born in Regina and grew up in Kayville, SK with his 14 siblings. He was an RM secretary in Burr, Avonlea, and Humboldt as well as a supervisor of secretaries in North Battleford, until he retired to Humboldt. Louis enjoyed refereeing hockey and umpiring baseball. He and Gladys always appreciated having coffee with the 6:00 a.m. coffee crew each day. Louis is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gladys of Humboldt; his daughter Lois (Brian), and son Garry (Karen); his grandchildren: Jeff (Carla), Erin (Michael), Devin and Nolan; as well as three great grandchildren: Ava, Macy and Owen. At Louis' request, there will be no funeral.
