GOURLAY: In Memory of Mickael Stanley

Mickael was born to Edwin & Elsie Gourlay in Watrous, Sask. He went to school in Watrous until he left in the early 70's with his younger brother Bruce and friends to northern Manitoba. Mickael settled in Thompson where he worked at the nickel mine for over 35 years and received numerous awards for safety. After retirement, in 2005 Mickael and his current wife Barbara moved to Humboldt where he enjoyed anything mechanical, driving around, garage sales and old movies. Due to failing health, Mickael was hospitalized for a short period before his passing. Mickael was predeceased by his father Edwin and brother Bruce. Mickael's family gathered to remember him privately on Saturday December 10th in Humboldt. Mickael will be sadly missed and remembered by his Mother Elsie Gourlay (Ben Lohman) and his sisters Linda (Scott Ewen), Donna (Roch Boisvert), Edwina & Patti (Dale Regier) and his children and grandchildren.
