BJORKDALE — The Bjorkdale Community Christmas party was held on Friday, Dec. 9 with a crowd of just under 90 people in attendance.

The Bjorkdale Curling Club did an excellent job of hosting another successful event. It was a catered roast beef supper with all of the fixings. The curling rink also had over 40 auction items available to bid on throughout the night. Unofficially, without counting all the expenses, the Bjorkdale Curling Club made around $4,500 from the evening out.

The R.M of Bjorkdale just recently posted a few properties for tender. You can go online to view all of the properties available. One property is the old RM office building in Crooked River. For more information contact the RM office at 306-886-2470

The Bjorkdale school will be hosting a harvest dinner for the school and community on Friday Dec.16 at the Bjorkdale hall. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy a meal and visit. The school Christmas concert will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Bjorkdale hall.
