The Village of Bjorkdale has bought some aerial photos of the village. Some prints will be sold at the trade show this weekend.

BJORKDALE — The combined Arborfield and Bjorkdale under 11 team played in their first tournament on Nov. 18 and 19. They were the C finalists and all played very well.

Hockey will be in full swing as the Bjorkdale skating rink has been getting many volunteers coming and flooding the ice, unfortunately with the warm weather in the horizon, flooding will have to be put on hold until the temperatures cool down. Thank you to all the volunteers so far this winter. Bjorkdale will likely have their ice in at the beginning of December.

This weekend will be busy at the Bjorkdale Hall, with the annual trade show happening. More than 20 vendors will be their selling so many different items. It will run form 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and the Bjorkdale Minor Hockey association will be running the food booth this year. Hope to see everyone there.

The Village of Bjorkdale also purchased aerial photos. They will be on display at the trade show and if anyone is interested will be available to purchase. Cost vary on prints. All money raised from these photos will go towards the purchase of a new in wall projector at the Bjorkdale Hall.
