HUMBOLDT — Paige Crozon helped Canada win silver at the FIBA 3x3 Basketball World Cup.

A Humboldt product, Crozon is the daughter of Leanne and Gary Crozon. It was the first time Canada had placed second at the event. This year’s edition was held in Antwerp, Belgium.

Canada fell 16-13 to France in the gold medal game. In the semifinals, Canada held on a for 16-14 victory over Lithuania. Canada was 6-2 at the event.

During the tournament, Crozon averaged 3.3 points per game. The 6-foot shooter was tied for second in the tournament with nine shots made behind the two-point line.
