NAICAM — Naicam and District Ambulance, a long-time provider of emergency medical services in the Naicam region, has announced the successful sale of its operations to Duck Mountain Ambulance Care Ltd.
The decision to transfer ownership reflects a shared commitment to enhancing service levels, investing in local infrastructure and securing the long-term presence of emergency medical care in Naicam and surrounding areas it said in the Town of Naicam press release.
The acquisition takes effect Sept. 1, 2025, and represents a bold vision for growth, a commitment to service excellence and improved emergency response capabilities according to the release.
“Our team at Naicam and District Ambulance has been deeply committed to the community,” said Roger Hayward, mayor of the Town of Naicam. “We look forward to working with Duck Mountain Ambulance Care because they share our values and recognize how essential these services are to the people of Naicam.”
“This sale is not just strategic — it's personal,” he added. “We’re proud of the legacy we’ve built and are confident that Curtis and Ryan will carry it forward with integrity, purpose and small-town heart.”
As part of the transition, the Town of Naicam will work closely with Duck Mountain Ambulance Care to ensure continuity of operations. Retaining current staff and integrating new resources to meet growing demand will be key priorities it said in the statement.
