NIPAWIN - RCMP in Saskatchewan say a 31-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly pointing what turned out to be a paintball gun at officers.
Police say they began looking for the man after an unknown and allegedly armed male entered a home in Nipawin on Thursday, and was confronted by a woman inside before fleeing.
Police say they later made attempts to stop a stolen vehicle before they allege the male occupant pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the responding officers.
They say the male exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, but officers arrested him and seized a paintball gun.
