SaskPower plans maintenance power interruption in Melfort

SaskPower will shut off power Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for system maintenance in Melfort north of McDonald Ave. and west of Hwy 6.

MELFORT — SaskPower has scheduled a planned power interruption for the area north of McDonald Avenue and west of Highway 6 in Melfort. Here are the key details: 

  • Date: Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025 
  • Start time: 10 a.m. 
  • End time: 3 p.m. 
  • Reason: System maintenance 

This maintenance outage is part of SaskPower’s efforts to invest in and renew its electrical infrastructure, which ultimately helps reduce the frequency of unplanned outages.
