An oasis of caring

If I have a choice when I get older and need to go into a personal care home the Oasis Personal Care Home is where I'd like to be. Dec. 18, Delbert and Shelia Millar hosted a Christmas party for the residents and their families.

April Lafreniere and Phyllis Cunnigham lead Oasis Personal Care Home residents and guests in the singing of Christmas carols.

If I have a choice when I get older and need to go into a personal care home the Oasis Personal Care Home is where I'd like to be.

Dec. 18, Delbert and Shelia Millar hosted a Christmas party for the residents and their families. Christmas carols were sung accompanied by April Lafreniere, vocals, and Phyllis Cunningham on piano.

The residents were also entertained by Howard Bulmer, Walt Dumont, Tom Caldwell and Mel Deagnon.

Gifts were given to family members by the residents made by Joe Luchka and painted by the residents. This year they made candles and angles. It was so heart touching to see the residents presenting these gifts to the family members.

A lunch was served with a variety of food and desserts fit for a king. I would personally like to thank the staff for all their hard work and wish the staff, families and residents at the home a happy holiday and all the best in the New Year.
