A two-year artistic pilot project funded by the Saskatchewan Arts Board came to an end this December, and the completion was marked with an exhibition at Chapel Gallery.

The program, hosted through Chapel Gallery, involved eight regional artists and one mentor:Joel Carignan, Oriol Dancer, Audrey Fineday, Holly Hildebrand, Chris Hodge, Karlie King, Karen Kowalski, Dana Standinghorn and Terry Billings (mentor).

During these past two years, much was accomplished. Videos were made, a book was written, nature based art was created at various locations in the region, exhibitions were held, the travelling "art bus" was born and, for some, artistic practices were completely overhauled.

What is more, the group attended and facilitated various artistic workshops and networked throughout the region. The culminating exhibition, entitled Momentum, is accurately named in that members of the group intend to continue to be prolific in their work.
