It's early October but winter was in the air at the Cowboy Harvest Parade on Oct. 5 in Battleford. A number of wagons were entered in this parade which ran from Fort Battleford all the way through downtown Battleford. The capper to the event was the Chuckwagon Meal served at Fort Battleford. As expected, the highlight of the event was the arrival of Santa Claus.
