Easter brings visitors

April 4: Colleen Koski was at her son Riley's for supper Sunday. It was an early Easter supper for them as Riley is leaving for a holiday in Europe. Irene McKee is now a resident in Pine Island Lodge.

Irene McKee is now a resident in Pine Island Lodge. The family members are busy cleaning out her apartment. We wish you all be best in your new place, Irene.

Last Thursday we enjoyed an evening of music and a bountiful potluck supper at the Drop In Centre. We honoured Bill and Linda McGillvery for all they have done for this community.

Friday, Jean Stewart, Frances Peterson, Dorothy Harmel and I enjoyed the North of The Gully Dama Club play, Virgil's Family Reunion. It featured terrific acting and a lovely supper. We came home with sore sides from laughing.

Saturday, Marion Stoughton took her Mom, Jean Stewart, Dorothy Kissick, Tillie Linkert and I to Lashburn to Cash Back. We enjoyed it very much.

Tuesday morning coffee at Pine Island Suites was enjoyed by a number of the apartment ladies. We were all given an Easter treat, played bingo and were introduced to a live rabbit. It was really friendly and loved to be cuddled.

We are pleased to see Eva Inkster back home in her apartment. She is doing really well and will be better when gout disappears.
