The club will hold their next bingo night on Feb. 16 at 7 p.m., open to the public, but participants must be vaccinated and wear masks.

The Friendship Club held a business meeting Jan. 20 to discuss upcoming events. The club passed a motion to cancel the Jan. 26 and Feb. 23 potluck suppers and a Feb. 9 business meeting. A meeting will be held March 9. It was decided to still go ahead with the bingo nights as the attendance is not that high and safety protocols are followed. The annual meeting will be held April 13 and a nominating committee will be appointed at the March 9 meeting.

The club has 87 members and nine of those are life members. Criteria for a life membership is 85 years of age. Life members do not have to pay annual dues and receive a certificate. Two new life members are T. Hrenkiw and W. Dyck.
