Harvest almost done

Kelly and Ray Gabruch, who were holidaying at the lake, stopped into see their mom Tillie Linkert. They were on their way home to Medicine Hat.

Kim Coulter and Regan stopped in on Sunday to visit grandma Dorothy Kissick.

Jean Stewart and myself enjoyed Sunday supper at the truck stop. We drove home via the old highway and the flocks of geese were just immense, white and great together. A sure sign of fall.

A number of ladies enjoyed coffee and bingo at Pine Island Suites Tuesday morning. I enjoyed a trip to Meadow Lake with Frances and Dave Wright. We were material shopping and picked up quilts at Cher's. A beautiful day, a lot of harvesting done and many combines still going.

We are very fortunate to be having such beautiful harvest weather. Many are done harvesting and others just finishing up. Nice to know that the farmers have the crops in. If they don't have it, neither do we.
