Fans of Jackwagon, the band made up of Laird Brittin, Neil Georget, Ryan Bater and Jay Bottomly, will get a chance to see the band this Saturday at the Windsor Hotel.

This is Jackwagon's "first anniversary" concert, as they played their first show on St. Patrick's Day 2011. Jackwagon was created when Brittin taught his then-co-worker Georget how to play chords on the guitar. He and Brittin, while jamming, decided to form a band. They contacted Ryan Bater, who played bass, and the band was formed in Georget's garage. Jay Bottomly later agreed to join on drums.

When they played their first concert, they knew "14 songs quite well (and another 10 not so well)," in Brittin's words. Their first concert was an encouraging one, and they have gone on to play for private parties, Bridgefest and at the Relay for Life.

The concert starts around 9 p.m.
