Members support arts in the community

The Allen Sapp Gallery and Chapel Gallery have planned a member appreciation event not to be missed. Gallery members are invited to the Chapel Gallery Saturday, Feb. 25 from 7 to 10 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Keith Bartlett and friends.

The Allen Sapp Gallery and Chapel Gallery have planned a member appreciation event not to be missed.

Gallery members are invited to the Chapel Gallery Saturday, Feb. 25 from 7 to 10 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Keith Bartlett and friends. There will also be refreshments, displays and prizes. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. with the highlight being a presentation by Heather Smith, curator of the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery. She will give a curatorial talk about the current exhibition, The Newfoundland Series, by Campbell Tinning.

With your paid membership to the galleries you will receive a number of benefits throughout the year while supporting gallery programming. Workshop and retail discounts, access to the gallery resources, and opportunities to take part in exhibitions are all part of your membership package. Local businesses - Bannerman Photo, Bee J's Office Plus and Power Print - have also provided benefits for members.
