Mild January a fond memory

The month of January is done, and what we thought was going to be a long cold month has been wonderfully mild. Colleen Koski was to Lloydminster to visit her mom, May Ford.

Dorothy Kissick was to Lloydminster Monday and visited her friends at Pioneer Lodge.

A number of the ladies from the apartments enjoyed coffee at Pine Island Suites Tuesday morning.

Bev and Don Nicholson of St. Walburg were Sunday visitors with Tillie Linkert. Also visiting her Sunday were her grandson Mark and Glenda Nicholson of Rocky Mountain House. Mark and Glenda had been at Loon Lake fishing and stopped in on their way home.

Luke James stopped for a short visit with his grandma Tillie Linkert on his way back to university in Saskatoon.

Our sympathy to the Stakiw family on the passing of Joe Stakiw. Joe was a long time resident in Maidstone and his funeral was Feb. 7 at the United Church.
