Congratulations to Eric and Dana Ducherer on the birth of Aiden Eric. A shower to honour the little fellow will be held in the Neilburg Seniors' Centre June 16. Also on the 16th, a bridal shower for Katlin Pegg will be held at the Seniors' Drop-In Centre in Maidstone. Katlin will soon become the bride of Cory Ducherer.

Please note that the garbage and the recycling bins have been removed from the Neilburg post office. This is due to privacy concerns. This change in policy was effective as of June 4 and patrons are asked to take any unwanted mail home to dispose of.

Anne Laursen has recently returned from a missions trip to Mexico. She accompanied a group from the Wainwright Evangelical Free Church who travelled to Oaxaca to work at an orphanage. Teams have gone out from Wainwright for the past four years. This was the second time Anne has gone to assist with the work in Mexico. While there, she met up with Dan and Vange Birtles, former staff at Manitou Lake Bible Camp. The Birtles are now mission workers with Wycliffe in Mitla, Mexico. The Birtles are in the process of doing Bible translation work for one of the many Mexican dialects.

A "mixed-up" potluck for adults was held at Manitou Evangelical Free Church April 20. Much fun and fellowship was enjoyed.

The Youth Group at Manitou Evangelical Church has been more active recently. They had a "Minute to Win It" challenge one week and spent another evening playing outdoor games and having a campfire at the Bible camp. A wind-up for the year was held Friday, June 7 with activities at Bud Miller Park in Lloydminster.
