The third annual Back to the Bowl Redberry Lake musician appreciation day will be held at the Redberry Bowl located on the grounds of Redberry Lake Regional Park, June 10.
It is sure to please the audience as a number of reputable, established musicians participate in the event. Some of the musical headliners include Redberry Grass, Stetson, The Band Wagon, Soundwave, Tillie and The Billiegoats, The Unusual Suspects and many more. The music genre includes bluegrass, classic country, classic rock, instrumental 50s and 60s, novelty, rock and more.
Russ MacNutt of Hafford nurtured the project from an idea into reality. His passion for music combined with the natural outdoor amphitheater creates the ideal musical opportunity for bands of any level of expertise to share their musical talent with the audience.
The large 32 by 28 foot roofed stage is equipped with a power supply that is able to accommodate the public announcement system and all the various electric musical instruments, speakers and amplifiers.
Everyone is welcome to attend. The only financial obligation will be the gate fee to the park. Entertainment begins at noon and continues throughout the afternoon. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs. It's a day to appreciate music, make friends, renew old friendships and enjoy the outdoors. Food will be available at the beach concession booth.
