The Maidstone area has recently formed a new 4-H club, called the Standard Hill Beef Club.

There are a total of 12 members in our club, all of whom are in the beef project. Lacey Jurke is president, Chance Jurke is vice-president, Jesse Skolrood is secretary and Sarah Graham is treasurer. Darrel Jurke is the general leader and Heather Krepps is the assistant general leader. Steven Myer is the beef leader. He will be assisted by Michael Ferguson and Steve Harty.

Standard Hill Beef Club will be holding their achievement day June 2 at 5 p.m. at the Lloyd Exhibition Grounds. They have also been accepted into the Lloyd Expo and will be attending June 3 and 4.

This year they have participated in multiple activities such as a sleigh ride and a tour of the Weir Veterinary Clinic. They also held a bottle drive March 19 and would like to thank everyone for their generous contributions. In the upcoming months they will be going on a tour of the University of Saskatchewan's agriculture programs.

It has been a great year so far and it will hopefully continue to be so. You are invited to support Standard Hill Beef Club at their achievement day and at Lloydminster Expo.
